In my long held profession as a harp instructor and music educator I have always believed in the great importance of broadening the horizon and enriching the musical world of young aspiring harp performers. The “Focus on Harp” concert series is a wonderful way to achieve this expansion of musical thought and experience.
The participation of renowned harpists exposes students and harp lovers to new and exciting musical interpretations. It allows them to experience diverse styles of harp playing and to gain a broader perspective on the harp world.
I invite everyone to come by and enjoy the unique and exciting concerts in the upcoming season of “Focus on Harp”.

When I took on the role of series editor for the “Focus on Harp” concert series I had little to no idea what I was getting myself into. Step by step, learning as I go, I realized the job was extremely demanding, and, thankfully, equally rewarding.
For me, every concert in the series is a new beautiful edventure. Together with the performers, and sometimes composers and arrangers as well, we work towards constructing a program that will interest both the audience and ourselves. It is a joint effort to create a unique musical experience that will allow each participant to express themselves and will give every listener a chance to hear something they haven’t heard before.
